It is common to occur, it happens when melted candle wax does not reach the edges of the container. To prevent this from happening, burn candle until the melt pool (melted wax) reaches the edges of the container.

Black smoke is caused by the burning of an untrimmed wick. Trim wick to 0.5cm to prevent candle from producing soot or mushrooming ( bulb of wick forms when you do not trim.)

For our 250g wax filled coco soy candles, total burn time is approximately 60 hours.

The candle may have been burning for a short period of time or the area that the candle is lit is large. Burn candles for a minimum of 2-3 hours before evaluating the fragrance. Burn in a small room or get multiple candles of the same scent if burning in a large room. If this phenomenon is happening frequently over a longer period of time, you may be experiencing a blind nose, all you need to do is rotate the scents in your space.

You can safely pour in hot water into the vessel and allow for the wax to separate from the container. Let the water cool completely, then you can remove the surfaced wax, and recycle or reuse the container.

To use body oil, apply a few drops to your palm and gently massage it into damp skin after a shower or bath, this is when the skin pores are dilated, allowing for best product absorption. The lightweight oil formulation leaves the skin supple and non-greasy. This helps to lock in moisture and ensures optimal absorption. You can also use it throughout the day on dry areas as needed, best used with our creamy body butter.
